Take it Flow

With a passion for Functional Yoga I approach instructions as suggestions and love to give you the opportunity to discover what feels best for your unique skeletal anatomy and overall physical capabilities. The focus is to bring your attention to what your movements feel like on the inside, to experience the function of a pose or exercise in a way that works for you. Strengthening your innerbody and present moment awareness and letting go of limiting beliefs with every full exhale. Every journey starts with one breath and when you breathe it all out it comes back to you fresh.

Every new adventure starts with one full exhale

Aerial Yoga

From having regular first timers, ranging from beginners to more experienced Yogis, I can tell you that anyone can take this class. It really is an all levels Yoga practice and not acrobatics. As I guide you through, with a variety of options you get to reconnect to the playfulness of your inner child and come to realise you can do so much more than you think. The hammock to me is the ultimate Yoga prop that supports you in balancing effort and relaxation. You are carried in a way that deepens your sense of surender to what is.

Vinyasa Yoga

One breath, one movement. Balancing effort and relaxation. Stretching in all directions and strengthening all muscles. The focus is to bring your attention to what your movements feel like on the inside, to experience the function of a pose or exercise in a way that works for you. Discover what feels best for your unique skeletal anatomy and overall physical capabilities. The variety in the sequence of poses is endless, offering you a fresh experience in every class. Moving with the support of your breath.

Yin Yoga

I completed most of my 500hrs of teacher training with Marcel van de Vis Heil and the late Anat Geiger, both long time students of Paul Grilly. Diving into anatomy, the chakras and philosophy with them gave me all I needed to develop a deepening Yin practice to balance out my once overly Yang lifestyle. Taking the time to find stillness in a stretch deepens your inner body awareness with such patience and love. Sharing this with students is as much of a pleasure as having fun in the hammocks and flowing on the mat.
